FOOD INDUSTRY
Since the very beginning of Sunilens, our main activities have been distribution and trade of refined vegetable oils, bakery and confectionery margarines and other food products for industrial applications. These activities and services are classified under the official number 46.33 according to the National Classification of Economic Activities in the Republic of Macedonia.
OUR PARTNERS
In the last 25 years, we have managed to establish long-term partnerships with renowned regional companies and global manufacturers that helped us introduce high quality industrial food products to the Macedonian market. Our product portfolio includes the following brands: Dijamant AD (Serbia), Master Martini (Italy), Kitra Industries and NGO (Malaysia), TomaCo (Serbia), Ruma (Serbia), Jabuka (Serbia), Krsulj (Serbia) and various suppliers from India and China.
OUR CLIENTS
Each year we distribute more that 4.500 tons of industrial food products in Macedonia. We cooperate with more than 1.000 bakeries, restaurants, hotels, fast food companies, small and large confectionery producers, producers of bread and croissants, chips and snacks factories, catering companies, canning and meat industry manufacturers and other types of food producers.
USED COOKING OIL MANAGEMENT
In 2009, Sunilens entered into the waste management industry – collection, storage and treatment of used cooking oils and fats from vegetable origin (official waste code: 20 01 25). As pioneers in used cooking oil management in Macedonia, we made significant investment in market research, new technology, equipment, logistics and human resources to comply with the highest industry standards. Our success in waste management and the professional conduct we have established in the market have ensured continuous renewal of all necessary licences from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning as well as EU quality certification of our collection system.
OUR CONTRIBUTION TO GREEN CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT
During the last ten years, Sunilens has managed to collect more than 4.150 tons of used cooking oil from more than 850 industrial waste producers. We provide eco services through our efficient collection network all over the country. The used cooking oil we collect is transported, de-packed, heated, cleaned through thermal processing and filtration in our waste management system and it is shipped as eco feedstock to biodiesel companies in Austria and EU. We collect used cooking oil from restaurants, hotels, fast food companies, pubs, supermarkets, chips and snacks factories, confectionery producers and other types of food companies.
